The NTT 2016 Global Threat Intelligence Report revealed that cybercriminals are increasingly targeting the retail sector, shifting the focus from traditional financial markets. Security technology itself can no longer provide 100% protection for the retail industry. As culture has an enormous impact on employees’ behaviours – security practitioners have called for the creation of security culture to positively influence employees’ behaviours towards better protecting organisational information assets.
