CYBER SECURITY CULTURE IN ORGANIZATION

In this interconnected world, no organization can afford to miss out on the advance to online storage and e-commerce, which include the adoption of cloud computing, mobile computing and IoTs. However, the online business opportunities come with their own set of risks that expose organizations and consumers to cybercrime. The NTT 2016 Global Threat Intelligence Report revealed that cybercriminals are increasingly targeting the online sector, shifting the focus from traditional financial markets. Security technology itself can no longer provide 100% protection for all industries. As culture has an enormous impact on employees’ behaviors – security practitioners have called for the creation of security culture to positively influence employees’ behaviors towards better protecting organizational information assets.
