ANNA TAN

Senior Trainer and Coach

Anna has been in a Learning and Development (L&D) role since 2006 and her recent designation as a Training & Development Manager with an international facilities management company located in Kuala Lumpur, had broaden her training portfolio to include managerial and supervisory skills trainings for their internal employees located in the head office as well as site based.  Prior to her role as a T&D Manager, she was a Trainer with an Australian electrical and home furnishing retail company.  Her training experience expanded into a regional role when she was a Regional Customer Service Trainer for an international audio and web conferencing company, taking care of their in-house trainings in the Asia Pacific region while she was based in the Kuala Lumpur office.

Anna has vast experiences in areas of customer service as that was where she started her career and eventually moved into a training role which she is very passionate about.  She has worked in the telecommunications, banking, manufacturing, retail and facilities maintenance companies and her initial training role was with a Singapore telecommunications company and subsequently, she took up a role to train in Singapore to further develop her L&D career.  Having had many years of experience in customer service within the contact centre environment as well as face to face customer interactions, she has trained many internal staff in the companies that she has worked with.

As a trainer, Anna has conducted trainings in multiple areas which encompasses product trainings, induction and on-boarding programmes, systems, teambuilding, leadership and soft-skills including customer service, EQ, retail and selling skills, e-mail etiquette, Train-The-Trainer as well as Introduction to Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

She is passionate about developing others to excel in their roles and believes in the potential of each individual.

 

Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English Language Studies and is a Certified Service Professional by Singapore’s Workforce Development Agency.  She is also a certified PSMB (HRDF) Trainer and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM).
